Women’s rowing competes in Oklahoma

The SMU women’s rowing team returns to competition this weekend at the Midwest Rowing Championships in Oklahoma City, Okla. The Mustangs’ last competition was less than a week ago, when the squad placed three boats at the Southern Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championship.

SMU also signed two letters of intent this week for fall 2007. Brooke Reemsnyder is a 5’10” senior at Stanton College Preparatory School in Jacksonville, Fla., while Ali Smith is a 5’0″ coxswain from Georgetown Visitation in Washington, D.C.

After competing at the Midwest Rowing Championships, SMU will continue competition at the South Central Regional Championships in Oak Ridge, Tenn., May 12-13.
