Crum Commons is back with its’ annual music and film festival. This year’s event will be on Friday Oct 26 at 6 p.m. With events going on until 1 a.m., it’ll be easy to find time to attend. Last year’s Great Crumpkin featured a huge blow up pumpkin and twinkle lights–need I say more?

Ruibal’s Plants
A post-Farmer’s Market haunt, Ruibal’s Plants is always overflowing with–you guessed it–plants. However, fall means the store is flooded with pumpkins of all shapes and sizes. It’s perfect for snapping an Instagram picture (or two or three). And don’t be surprised if you go home with a few squash of your own.

The Dallas Arboretum never fails to deliver with its annual pumpkin festival. Visit now until Nov 21 to see 90,000 pumpkins, squash and gourds displayed beautifully throughout the garden. This year’s theme is “The Adventures in Neverland.” Grab your camera before heading out, because it’ll look like you stepped out of the Dallas heat and into a Fall Wonderland.

Dogs, costumes and tacos? Count me in. Mutt’s Canine Cantina in Uptown will be having its 6th annual dog costume contest at 11 a.m. on Oct 20. Fun fact: you do not have to have a dog to get into Mutt’s- just buy a day pass at the door and enjoy tacos while ogling over the cutest pets in Dallas.
