This weekend on “Fox News Sunday,” Dick Cheney said, “The attorney general has a unique position in the cabinet, obviously. He can’t be told what to do by the president of the United States.” That must be news to the nine federal prosecutors fired for political reasons due to the Bush White House’s pressure on the Justice Department.
