Dinosaurs, airplanes, and art. What do these things have in common?
You can see them for free this weekend as part of Smithsonian’s sixth annual National Museum Day.
On Sept. 24 museums and attractions around the DFW metroplex are offering free admission to the general public.
Sites in Dallas include the Frontier of Flight Museum, the Discovery Gardens at Fair Park, and the Crow Collection of Asian Art.
Take a day trip to Fort Worth for “Day in the District,” where highlights such as The Amon Carter Museum, Kimbell Art Museum, and the Fort Worth Museum of Science and Nature will all be free to the public.
