The lights have come back on and the tents have cleared – so ends another Fashion at the Park. This past weekend I was ushered from show to show, event to event, and although it may have been a few of the most tiring days of my life, it was so worth it! From demi-couture gowns by Oscar de la Renta to hyper avant-garde suits by Custo Barcelona, the garments that came down the runway made a statement and gave each show a flavor all its own. On top of the New York style shows, the weekend was sprinkled with special affairs: Hamish Bowles’s Vogue Living book signing, the Tory Burch gala dinner, the Kim Dawson and Fashion!Dallas Salon, and a private concert from recording artist Eve, just to name a few. Reflecting on the weekend’s events, to say that Fashion at the Park Fall 2007 was a success would be an understatement. Impeccable clothing, over-the-top productions, sexy models, exclusive events and spectacular swag – now the question on everyone’s minds is: How is NorthPark going to top FATP Fall 2007 in the spring?
