Everyone loves the array of smells in the air at the Texas State Fair.
Juicy hot dogs, buttery popcorn and cotton candy stands fill Fair Park once again. Also to see are famous rock and country bands, wild rides that will make you puke and every genre of exhibit in the universe.
At the fair, there’s something to please every type of person with the most eccentric of hobbies.
The fair is the main stage of attraction for Texas folk for almost all of October.
This year, the Dixie Chicks and Pat Green are to perform, while magicians and Chinese acrobats will amaze people with their newly renovated tricks.
Anyone with an adventurous light-hearted side can bid on prizes, enter cooking contests and participate in shows.
If you’re a dog lover, you are in luck. There are several K9 competitions including the fastest pooch, the frisbee catch and the long jump.
Last but not least, don’t forget to ride the breath taking Texas Star ferris wheel for a romantic view of Dallas you’ll never forget.
