As SMU continues its centennial celebrations in the upcoming months, students and their parents will gather for Family Weekend from Oct. 30-31. SMU’s Student Foundation, responsible for putting together the weekend, recently released the schedule. However, while this year’s theme is Haunted on the Hilltop, the Student Foundation website does not list any theme-related events.

The main events include the yearly family luncheon, a variety of open houses, a fish fry hosted by the Association of Black Students, family laser tag with the Asian Council, and, of course, a Boulevard barbecue followed by the SMU vs. Tulsa football game.

The Student Foundation encourages all SMU students to bring their families and sign up for the festivities through their website. They “look forward to welcoming [everyone] to the BOO-levard.”
