The Embrey Human Rights program is hosting a free human rights careers forum for SMU students wondering how to turn their degree into a job.

The forum will take place at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 18 in Dallas Hall’s McCord Auditorium and will feature a diverse range of professionals and SMU alumni in the human rights field. The panel members and students will talk about different career development skills and strategies.

“Students are welcome to bring their questions because, as SMU alumni, the panelists have gone through the program and understand how to take the next step,” said Brad Klein, assistant director of the Embrey Human Rights Program.

The forum will be informal and will allow students to interact with the professionals on a personal level. For more information, visit smu.edu/humanrights or contact the Embrey Human Rights Program at 214-768-3284.
