Despite SMU’s hopes to conduct a fully in-person fall semester free of mask mandates and COVID-19 protocols, recent case surges in Texas have led SMU Faculty Senate to adopt resolutions urging SMU to re-instate masking, require vaccination, and improve building ventilation before the fall semester begins.
