She’s finally here.
Award-winning journalist Katie Couric, the most anticipated Tate Lecture Series speaker of the season, will host a student forum Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.
SMU Vice President for Development and External Affairs Brad Cheves, Debbie and John Tolleson, the sponsors of the lecture, and senior Derek Hubbard will moderate the student Q&A session.
“I’m extremely excited to welcome Katie Couric to SMU,” Hubbard said. “I have had the pleasure of moderating all of the Tate Lecture student forums for the past year and a half and this is the one I am most excited about. As a communications major, I am excited to hear what she has to say about the role mass media plays in corporate America.”
All students are invited to come and participate in the forum.
The sold out Tate Lecture will take place at 8 p.m. in McFarlin Auditorium.
