The Division of Communications will sponsor a governor’s debate for candidates Greg Abbott and Wendy Davis this Thursday night at the Greer Garson Theatre at 7:00.
Student debaters will discuss the issues and the stances the candidates bring to the table, which will give students an opportunity to learn about the potential future leaders of Texas before the election takes place.
“I think it’s very important for students to be educated about the candidates,” senior Meg Mochel said.
