SMU’s Office of the Chaplain and Religious Life will host a Marriage Seminar from Feb. 6-7 for married, engaged, and other couples who are seriously dating.
This seminar is part of the partnership between the Office of the Chaplain and Religious Life and the Center for Healthy Relationships with John Brown University. This seven to eight hour-long seminar will be the third one of its kind hosted at SMU, but every seminar is different, according to Betty McHone, SMU’s Assistant Chaplain and Coordinator of Religious Life.
“We envision and are putting together initiatives for the Center [for
Healthy Relationships] that would generally helps students faculty and staff
integrate their faith with the rest of their life,” SMU’s chaplain and minister
