SMU’s annual Fashion Week is set to close Friday with the Retail Club’s fifth annual Spring Fashion Show. The show will feature clothing from Shak by Stanley Korshak and Luxury Garage Sale, and attendees have a chance to win a $200 Stanley Korshak gift card. The event begins at 2 p.m. on Dallas Hall Lawn.
Senior and Retail Club Co-President Chandler Helms and Gucci Beauty will be doing hair and makeup for those walking the runway. Freshman Jonathan Barr, stage name JBARR, will DJ.
Helms said that those walking the runway will emerge from Dallas Hall and down the steps to the lawn. The length of the runway may make it the longest fashion show yet.
Other Fashion Week events included talks from Hillary Kerr, co-founder of Who What Wear, and Kate Betts, the former editor of Harper’s Bazaar.
