Stanley Korshak and Luxury Garage Sale premiered at the annual SMU Retail Club fashion show Friday at 2 p.m. Ten models graced the runway as students and faculty watched on Dallas Hall Lawn.
The Retail Club sponsored the event for the 15th time after the organization’s inauguration in 2001.
Stanley Korshak, a Dallas luxury-clothing boutique, featured many of their latest looks. Luxury Garage Sale also featured many of their favorite pieces. LGS is a high-end consignment boutique based out of Chicago that recently opened a storefront in Snider Plaza. They get pieces from all across America – women consign brand new and gently worn one-of-a-kind pieces, but LGS also receives boutique overstock.
Andra Chapman, Luxury Garage Sale assistant manager, said, “LGS is thrilled to be part of the SMU fashion show. SMU students have been instrumental to our success in Dallas and so supportive and welcoming to us.”
“This was a great opportunity to continue to spread the word about LGS as well as help out the Retail Club with their show,” Chapman said.
The makeup was by Gucci Beauty, and the music was by JBarr.
Stanley Korshak also offered a $200 gift card to the raffle winner.
The fashion show was the culmination of SMU’s fashion week. Hillary Kerr of Who What Wear spoke to students earlier this week as well as the former editor of Harper’s Bazaar, Kate Betts.
