Virginia-Snyder Commons Resident Assistants (RA) hosted a pancake party from 6:30-7:30 p.m. on Election Night. Students came in and out of the study lounge throughout the night. As of 7 p.m., around 30 students attended the event.
RA’s Clark Holt and Mary Parker Johnstone continually prepared pancakes for residents. After grabbing some food, a few residents sat down to watch the small TV in the room.
“I think the election has been pretty intense, and I look forward to seeing you will win,” said first-year and Virginia-Snyder resident Nick Dumitru.
Planning for this event began a week ago. RA’s decided to have this event early to have a “non-partisan” social event before the night “got heated.”
