Fashion guru Taylor Tomasi Hill hosted a Galentine’s Day event at her namesake boutique, TTH, in Highland Park Village Feb. 9.
Mimosas and hors d’oeuvres greeted shoppers when they stepped through the olive green doors.
TTH offers emerging brands such as Lele Sadoughi, Becca, Lucy Folk, Roxanne Assoulin and Sophie Money.
Hill said she envisions the store as Dallas’ go-to Valentine’s Day shop.
“I decided to host this event because it is a great way to get the word out for our jewelry,” Hill said. “If you are seeking things you can’t find everywhere [TTH carries] mostly emerging jewelry brands from around the world.”
Hill’s goal for TTH was to create a store similar to Forty Five Ten that targets younger women, particularly the SMU girl. She wants customers to be able to enter the store and have the option of buying simple pieces, like blue jeans and a new favorite top or more bold items such as vibrant jewelry to accessorize your outfit.
The store’s intimate environment makes it appealing to all kinds of shoppers. TTH hopes to be a store for everyone. At the Galentine’s Day party, the staff was friendly and attentive to customers who ranged from mothers picking out gifts for their daughters to college students splurging on a gift for themselves.
The store’s ambiance and numerous displays were designed with the customer in mind. The store is stocked with an array of earrings, from casual studs to sparkly and dangly ones.
Fashion blogger and trend setter Lauren Johnson was thrilled to host the event alongside Hill.
“I am a huge fan of Taylor and love everything she does,” Johnson said. “I’m new to the Dallas area from San Diego, and this was the perfect opportunity to promote the store’s new merchandise.”
The center jewelry display was rarely vacant. Interested shoppers conversed with Hill and Johnson. Johnson’s exquisite taste in style is adored by fashionistas around the world.
Brands such as 7 for All Mankind feature Johnson wearing their items.

SMU sophomore Grace Godwin is a communications major who is inspired by fashion blogs such as Johnson’s Disco Daydream. Godwin attended the event and said chatting with Johnson was definitely a highlight.
“TTH offers such a variety of merchandise from facial products to apparel and fashion jewelry that I can wear every day. I love that they carry clothing I can wear to class or out to dinner with friends,” Godwin said. “Plus, I got to chat with Lauren Johnson about our favorite items in the store, all while we were treated to champagne and mini bites.”
