The SMU Men’s Soccer team tied with the Marshall Thundering Herd 1-1 Saturday night.
The Mustangs took the lead early when senior Arthur Ivo sailed the ball over the Marshall goalkeeper on a free kick from 36 yards out. This was Ivo’s third goal of the year.
The Herd managed to even the match only a minute into the second half when Anthony Vigara scored on a breakaway. With the draw, SMU’s record goes to 6-4-1 and 1-1-1 in Conference USA.
The Mustangs final road trip game is on Wednesday at 6:00 pm against South Carolina.
