SMU to host Keeping Texas’ Economy Strong

How does Texas maintain its dynamic economy? Find out.

Cox Business School is hosting “Keeping The Texas Economy Strong” at 8 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 2. The conference will focus on supporting Texas’ economy by creating jobs and building wealth.

Texas business owners, CEO’s and entrepreneurs will come together to discuss opportunities and threats of the lone star states economy.

The event will host a number of speakers including luncheon keynote George Will.

“I think it’s a great opportunity for students to learn more about the state many now call home”, said Margot Daiber, a senior marketing major.

Keeping Texas Economy Strong will take place in the SMU Cox School of Business James M. Collins Executive Education.
