Police are looking for a man who robbed the Texas State Bank at 9 a.m. Monday, according to a statement released by the SMU Police Department. The bank is located on the ground floor of the Expressway Tower at the corner of Yale and North Central Expressway. SMU owns the building and has facilities on some of the upper-level floors.
Witnesses said the suspect was a tall, thin black man wearing brown pants, a black shirt and a black curly wig. He was reportedly carrying a medium-sized, unstructured bag on his shoulder. Witnesses said he ran out of the building’s east door toward Greenville Avenue after the robbery.
