When last weeks rankings came out the Mustang men’s soccer team was on top of all four polls for the third straight week with a record of 12-0-1. The women’s soccer team joined the men with a rank of 22nd in the socceramerica.com poll.
This week the men are on top of the polls for their fourth straight week in a row after a 1-0-1 weekend, and remain the only undefeated team in men’s collegiate soccer.
The women have since extended their winning streak to nine games and are undefeated in Conference-USA. They have moved from 22nd to 19th in socceramerica.com’s poll and are ranked in the adidas/NSCAA poll for the first time since 2004 with a ranking of 22nd.
The men’s team is 3-0-1 in C-USA and will face the team that handed them their only conference loss last season, South Carolina.
The women’s team is 5-0 in the conference and play two conference home games this weekend.
