After nearly a month off, the SMU men’s swimming and diving team will take to the water again in the Houston Invitational this weekend. The team has performed well during the fall season as they prepare for the spring season and the defense of their Conference USA championship.
At their first competition at the North Texas Relays, the team took second overall behind cross-city rival TCU.
SMU claimed their first victory of the year over the University of New Orleans at their next competition. Finally, the Mustangs put up a strong effort at home against the top teams in the Big 12 Conference: The University of Texas, Texas A&M and the University of Missouri.
