The SMU volleyball team has announced its 2007 schedule, which includes nine home matches and two tournaments. The Mustangs will kickoff the season with the Mustang Invite Aug. 24-25. SMU begins its dual matches on the road trip at SFA on Sept. 4. Following the New Hampshire Invite Sept. 14-15, the Mustangs have scheduled 16 consecutive C-USA matches.

The entire squad of 11 players will be returning since senior Jennette Evanco was out for the majority of the season with an injury. The Mustangs will also add freshman transfer Carly Bergquist, a libero, outside hitter from Oregon, to the lineup as well.

Last season, SMU finished 17-15 overall before falling to No. 1 seed Tulsa in the first round of the C-USA conference championship tournament.
