Mustang Brief:

President Obama made five back-to-back television appearances Sunday morning, making him the first president to appear on so many shows in one morning.

During the interviews with CBS’ Bob Schieffer, ABC’s George Stephanopoulos, NBC’s David Gregory, CNN’s John King and Univision’s Jorge Ramos (FOX was mysteriously left out) Obama stayed on message, repeating basically the same points on each show. In fact, not much changed besides the person sitting across from him. While I appreciate Obama’s need to give the Americans a full understanding of the health care reform, I don’t think practicing his oratory skills on the boob tube is the right way to go about it. We all know Obama is a great public speaker, so why be a show off?
