Welcome to our weekly news recap where we talk everything Dallas, style and, most importantly, fashion.
1. Blogger business
Vogue commented on the blogging business this week with some strong words from its editors. “Note to bloggers who change head-to-toe, paid-to-wear outfits every hour: Please stop. Find another business. You are heralding the death of style,” said Vogue digital creative director Sally Singer in Vogue.com’s recap of Milan Fashion Week. Big-time bloggers Leandra Medine, Bryanboy and Susie Bubble responded in defense.
Listen to Singer speak more about blogging on Man Repeller’s podcast “Oh Boy” where she was interviewed in August by the blog’s founder (and arguably one of the most famous fashion bloggers) Medine:
2. Anthony Maccarello debuts first collection for YSL
And seemingly it is YSL once again. The “Yves” was famously dropped by former creative director Hedi Slimane, but now it appears to be back with several logo pieces making it to the runway (and the set), The Cut reports. See the full show below:
3. Stranger things have happened
Everyone’s favorite kids of the summer had a reunion in Paris this past week. “Stranger Things” stars Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo and Caleb McLaughlin visited Louis Vuitton’s headquarters, and the fashion industry went abuzz with speculation about the “exciting project” that creative director Nicolas Ghesquière teased on his Instagram. A new campaign perhaps? (Check out Brown’s uber chic look below.)

4. Dior debuts a new look
Dior debuted a gorgeous blend of fencing and ballet vibes Friday. The much anticipated show was the debut collection from the house’s first female creative director, Maria Grazia Chiuri.
She stopped by for the grand opening party of her new Draper James location in Highland Park Village. The new store is her second after her Nashville flagship, and it even carries her new tailgating collection. I mean check out all of these red and blue accessories. Welcome to Texas!
