Friday, February 15: Heavy Metal – an Eclectic Mix

On Friday, the Meadows Wind Ensemble will perform “Heavy Metal – an Eclectic Mix.” The Ensemble performs at 7:30 p.m. in Caruth Auditorium in the Owen Arts Center. Tickets are $14 for adults, $11 for seniors, and $8 for students, faculty and staff. Get ready to sit back and enjoy this talented group transform some classic compositions into a heavy metal performance.

Saturday, February 16: Crawfish boil
Oak Highlands Brewery will host a crawfish boil to kick off Mardi Gras coming up in the next few weeks. There will be crawfish, music, and games. Admission is free and open to the whole Dallas community. Come get in the Mardi Gras spirit this weekend while enjoying some tasty food with the community.

Sunday, February 17: Clueless, the musical
The classic movie “Clueless” is being turned into a musical and will be performed at 8 p.m. Sunday at Wild Detectives in Oak Cliff. Movies that Should be Musicals is the brainchild of SMU alum, Brigham Mosley, who performs the show in really high heels. There will be live music and dances inspired by the iconic movie. Tickets are $15 and the event is open to the public. Come see this musical that will bring the classic movie into the modern age.
