Tired of going to the same old bars? Want to know where to get a cheap margarita? Well that’s what this column is all about.

What’s today, Thursday? Well damn. Y’all should get over to J Pepe’s Tex-Mex Grill on lower Greenville (3619 Greenville for those of you that prefer exact directions). Thursdays are half-price margarita days. Only $8.95 a pitcher! Plus, Pepe’s has a pool, making it the perfect place for hot afternoons.

Mick’s bar is also a great place. Located at 2825 Lower Greenville, look for $1 wells and domestics until 10 p.m. as well as a secluded, relaxing atmosphere.

For those of you that want to look sophisticated, get over to Hurricane Grill at 2831 Greenville. Get a hurricane, appletini or cosmo for three bucks.

Also, don’t forget about happy hour. Most of the bars on Greenville are happy until 6:30 or 7 p.m.

For those of you that want to get your drunk on early, you might want to check out someplace new, Milo Butterfinger’s at 5645 Yale. Head on over at 11 a.m. and it’s already happy hour, which lasts until 7. Look at that, you can get cheap drinks for eight hours.
