The Mustangs will make one more road trip before returning home and opening the Conference USA schedule. The New Hampshire Invitational will be the fourth and final tournament the Mustangs will participate in.

SMU started the season 8-4, winning the SMU Invitational and the Texas Tech Invitational. At the New Hampshire Invite the Mustangs will face the Syracuse Orange, Holy Cross and New Hampshire.
