During the summer, University Park Town Council voted to approve parking changes in Snider Plaza. To reduce overcrowding and parking density, new rules are in place. These require new businesses to provide more spaces for patrons, and reduce the maximum size of new businesses from four stories to three.Other proposals on the table to help free up the plaza’s 1,656 spaces include parking meters, residential parking permits, increasing parking enforcement and a parking garage.
