VIDEO: Students danced the night away at Multicultural Dance Night

Laughing and clapping could be heard echoing from the bottom floor of Hughes-Trigg Student Center on Wednesday night.

Dance lovers gathered in the Varsity for the first ever Multicultural Dance Night presented by Sigma Lambda Beta and Sigma Lambda Gamma.

Dances from around the world including salsa, hip hop, folk and belly dancing were being taught by experts to any students who wished to participate.

On the other side of Hughes Trigg, in the Ballrooms, the Middle Eastern Student Association was putting on its annual Arabian Nights event to celebrate the music, dancing and food of their culture.
