Spotlight on Care for Kids concert

Local band Chomsky headlines benefit concert at the Gypsy Tea Room from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. Tuesday. The five Dallas natives are a quirky pop band.

Chomsky won the awards for being the Best Rock/Pop Act in the year 2001 from The Dallas Observer and for the Best Rock Band in the year 2001 from the FW Weekly.

Other bands also scheduled to appear are Sorta, The Sparrows, The Nate Johnson Band and Tall.

For ticket information, call (214) 676-6556. All of the money raised by Care for Kids will benefit children, with some going to Bryan’s House and some to Heart House.
