It’s been nearly eight months since university park city council passed a law restricting non-residents from parking on streets surrounding SMU.
Permits are not for purchase and students and faculty cannot obtain one unless they are residents of the area.
Each street under the restriction requires a different permit so residents can only park on their street.
Those who aren’t happy with the plan can voice their concerns to the University Park City Council.
