SMU grad students Anna Banhegy and Jorge Diaz share bread at Hillel’s Seder dinner. The Jewish students’ group hosted their annual Seder dinner last night. The group invited any student to attend the meal, which reenacts the story of the Israelites escape from Egypt to Israel. The meal included matzah, matzah ball soup and brisket. Rabbi Coretz said that the most important symbol of the Passover Seder is the matzah, a flat bread which represents the food the Jews carried during their escape from Egypt.
