“Let’s go get a slushy” and see Program Council’s 24 Hour Musical production of “Heathers The Musical.” Set to hit the stage on March 31, the cast of the show will only have 24 hours before curtain to rehearse this ‘80s classic. The leads will be played by Nicole Daniels as Veronica Sawyer and Curtis Faulkner as Jason “J.D.” Dean.

The dynamic musical will bring the same teenage angst that was made famous in the original movie and musical production. The SMU directors are set to stay true to the original “Heathers The Musical” that was brought to the stage by Kevin Murphy of “Desperate Housewives,” Laurence O’Keefe of “Legally Blonde,” and Andy Fickman of “She’s the Man.” The cast starts rehearsal on March 29 for an 8 p.m.- 12 a.m. block of time and all day on March 30. The cast hits the stage on March 31.

Set to bring you back to your high school days, but to the extreme, you won’t want to miss Program Council’s “Heathers The Musical” production.
