Laura Bush is coming to the Bush Institute March 1 to discuss the secrets and evolution of the first lady throughout history.
The event will take place in The George W. Bush Presidential Center Auditorium at 6:30 p.m. The tickets are $40.
This exhibit will help reveal how the first ladies used their position to advance diplomacy and other social, cultural and political initiatives. It explains how these powerful first ladies have helped shape U.S. History. Some of the first ladies included in this exhibit are Laura Bush, Barbara Bush, Dolley Madison, Michelle Obama and Eleanor Roosevelt.
The exhibit will show the interesting and unique platform given to the first ladies during their husband’s time in office. There will be an expert panel including Bill Allman, former White House curator, Lea Berman, former White House social secretary, Anita McBride, former chief of staff to first lady Laura Bush, Dr. Katherine Sibley, a historian and expert on first ladies.
