Sigma Lambda Gamma will hold The Power of Pink this Thursday Oct 11 at 5:30pm in the Hughes-Trigg Commons.
The Power of Pink is an annual event commemorating breast cancer month and raising awareness about the illness through student participation and education.
“There are different stations and games that students can go to in order to learn facts and statistics about breast cancer while having fun and keeping a positive spirit,” Alexus Simpson, the morals and ethics chair for Sigma Lambda Gamma, said.
The main attraction will be a cake walk where students can win cakes donated by various SMU organizations as well as an assortment of other cool prizes.
