Authors LIVE! will host author of “Outer Order, Inner Calm; The Happiness Project; and The Four Tendencies” Gretchen Rubin at the Highland Park United Methodist Church on Tuesday, March 26.

Rubin calls herself “a writer who relentlessly explores human nature to understand how we can make our lives better.” She boasts the title of “the queen of the self-help memoir,” given to her by the New York Times, and has sold millions of copies globally. She also co-hosts the Happier podcast.

The lecture begins at 7 p.m. and is free, no registration required. The author reception includes a signed copy of the book and costs $30. Register for the reception by calling (214) 523-2240 or by emailing [email protected]. The event is open to the public.

Friends of SMU Libraries and Friends of Highland Park Library will present the event.

Prepare for the lecture by reading Rubin’s manifesto or taking her Four Tendencies Quiz (New York Times named her “the queen of personality typing” after a million people took the quiz).
