Cruz for Senate Grassroots chairwoman Kaye Goolsby opens Cruz event in Houston, as Cruz loses in the polls currently at 47.9 percent as of 8:14 p.m according to Politico. Goolsby says of Cruz, “He’s always worked for the safety of the people of Texas. And he continues to do so,” Goolsby says. She continues on to thank attendees for everything they did for Cruz and Republican candidates.
With each Republican victory announced on TVs at Cruz’s event, there is a roar of cheers.
