Ten restaurants to represent any relationship on Valentine’s Day

Many guys struggle when deciding where to take their date on Valentine’s Day. Here are some ideas whether it’s your first date, first Valentine’s Day or one of many. Good luck!

Long-term relationships

Nick & Sam’s: This steakhouse in uptown prides itself on prime steaks, chops and seafood. Steaks range from a 10-ounce filet mignon to a 26-ounce sirloin. This celebrity hot spot includes exceptional service, an extensive wine list and a piano player, all set in a great romantic atmosphere.

Houston’s: Here you will find a dark, romantic restaurant that has perfected classic American dishes. Houston’s provides a wide range of dishes with great presentation and expert service. Dishes range from a great burger with shoestring fries to a Hawaiian-prepared steak.

R&D Café: New to Dallas, the restaurant acts as a smaller-scale Houston’s (it’s right across the street). Both restaurants are owned by the Hillstone Restaurant Group, but R&D Café takes reservations. R&D is a little more casual, but still romantic. The restaurant and café serves some of Houston’s favorites as well as other salads, burgers and desserts.

Sushi Zushi: Have some sake with your date this Valentine’s Day. Sushi Zushi provides a sleek, modern setting with a huge sushi selection, as well as skewers for those not interested in sushi. You can also place an order online and have it available to be picked up or delivered to you this Valentine’s Day.

Olivella’s: Located on McFarlin right of off Hillcrest Avenue, this cute pizzeria is walking distance from campus. With candlelit, small wooden tables, this little place is sure to please. Authentic pizza is made fresh and can be accompanied by various salads, wines and desserts.

P.F. Chang’s: This China bistro is located in NorthPark Mall and is a famous eating destination throughout the country. It has a contemporary setting with many innovative dishes. There are plenty of quality selections to choose from and are big enough to share.
