The Meadows Chorale, Diva Dolce, and the Meadows Chamber Singers will come together for their recital, “How We Love,” this Sunday, March 3.

The program features songs that focus on different forms of love.

“I started pulling pieces for the groups, and it did seem to fall in categories of either love songs and flirting kinds of songs, or sort of the parent love,” Director of Choral Activities Dr. Pamela Elrod Huffman said.

Huffman says she expects audiences to cry during “This House of Peace” and the final song, “How We Love.”

“My goal is that somehow, somewhere in there, that somebody in the audience feels touched by a connection to something,” Huffman said. “That is a singer’s responsibility to communicate.”

The concert will be on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the Owen Arts Center’s Caruth Auditorium. Admission is free, but the audience is asked to donate to the North Texas Food Bank either at the concert or online at www.ntfb.org.
