Are you ‘buff’ enough?

Are you ‘buff’ enough?

Who is Buff Tanner? You can find the answer to that perplexing question every Thursday night at the Studio Movie Grill in Addison as Tanner and his troupe present the steps to becoming “a total man.”

The Buff Tanner show is essentially one big spoof of every cheesy infomercial, crazed fitness guru, and overzealous motivational speaker that can be found during most late night hours on TV. Tanner, along with the much-needed aid of Dr. Cornelius Cromwell (Chris Cason) and the typical sex appeal of assistant LaLana (Jennifer Cohen) advertise the steps that change Tanner from an out-of-shape underachiever into the total man that he is today.

The brains behind Tanner’s products come from Dr. Cromwell, who continually has to cover for his dim-witted, but physically fit sidekick. As Dr. Cromwell, Cason thoroughly entertains the audience as the brain of the operation, be it a very strange one.

Tanner’s system promises to deliver results without the hassle of exercise or eating right. Too good to be true? Of course it is, but no one in the Buff Tanner crew seems to be able to figure that out.

The show delivers lots of laughs at the expense of Tanner. Tanner has stepped up to the plate to successfully make fun of the male super-stud.

Catch Tanner, Dr. Cromwell and LaLana along with dinner and drinks at 9 p.m. every Thursday. For more information visit www.studiomoviegrill.com.
