Lightning appears to strike Gerald J. Ford Stadium Sunday evening during the first major thunderstorm and only second major rainfall in the area since last May.

SMU’s men soccer game against Washington was cancelled to the lightning.

The photo was taken from inside the Binkley Parking Garage looking across Wescott Field.
