Golfers looking for a great round now know where the two prime spots to play this upcoming year are, courtesy of the latest “GolfNow” rankings.
SugarTree Golf and Country Club and Cleburne Golf Links earned the top spots in the Dallas area by golfers booking their tee times on “GolfNow.”
SugarTree is not for the faint of heart, as water is in play on 13 of the 18 holes.
The course is also challenging visually as it runs along the river as well as having three different types of trees lining the fairways.
Cleburne is a longer golf course measuring over 7,000 yards. The par 5’s at Cleburne will certainly test even the best of golfers, with the 11th looming as the most dangerous hole.
“GolfNow” is operated by the “GolfChannel” and gives players the opportunity to rate the course on a scale of one to five, write reviews for other players and also see remarks made by other players.
One of the most complimentary comments on the SugarTree page comes from Tyler Holland, who not only enjoys the course but also the value.
“Love the course, love the easy drive out there, and the bang for buck I got with ‘GolfNow’ is almost surreal,” Holland wrote on the page. “I can’t wait to get out there again.”
“GolfNow” has gone on an impressive rise in the last couple of years, namely for the hidden gems they have been able to discover and turn these courses into household names.
Using the program’s strong recommendation, the popularity of these golf courses is sure to go up in the rankings nationally as more golfers discover the course.
