Dawn Eden, a nationally recognized author, will be speaking to young adults about the importance of relationships and chastity during SMU Catholic’s second annual Theology-on-Tap at the Tipperary Inn in Lakewood tonight at 7.
Eden, a news editor at the New York Daily News, converted to Catholicism after an influential “born again experience,” but she was raised in a Jewish household.
Eden’s most recent work, entitled, “The Thrill of the Chaste: Finding Fulfillment While Keeping Your Clothes On” describes how a woman was able to break free from a culture of sexual objectification.
The Theology-on-Tap is a national program that provides young adults with the opportunity to discuss theology and develop answers for important life questions. Eden is the third of four guest speakers hosted by the group this month.
