On behalf of the Students’ Association, the 102nd Student Senate and Southern Methodist University…welcome to (or back to) the Hilltop! Mustangs, I hope you all have had a successful first few weeks of the Fall 2015 semester. As you can see, from the cranes moving non-stop to the crowds following Messi, campus life and your student experience is in full swing.
The Student Senate, your Student Government on campus, is in full swing and has completed two meetings. Meetings are held on Tuesdays at 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Forum, in the basement, of Hughes-Trigg Student Center. Any and all students are welcome and we are here to listen to your student concerns. Your concerns are our concerns.
Please do not hesitate to reach any one of us on Executive Committee, any Senators, Committee Chairs or General Members. If you are a returning Mustang, we hope to help you make the best of your remaining time here; and if you are a first-year, welcome to the greatest four years of your life!
Any bump in the road, academic concern, safety complaint, lighting issue or if you just want to say hello…our office is on the 3rd floor of Hughes-Trigg, and you can find more information on smu.edu/studentsenate.
